- Do you think you are more of an introvert or an extrovert?
- Are you more of a thinker or a feeler?
Let’s Read!
There are many different personality tests. Two popular ones are the MBTI and the Enneagram. These tests ask you questions about how you act and think, then tell you what your personality type might be. Some people think these tests are fun and helpful, while others think they put people in boxes and aren’t very accurate.
Listen and Learn!
(Teacher plays a short clip of a psychologist explaining that personality is complex and there’s no one right way to be.)
Talk with a Partner!
One of you is a personality expert. The other is a person who wants to understand their personality better. Ask and answer questions!
Example:
- Person: “I like to be alone sometimes, but I also enjoy spending time with friends. What does that mean about my personality?”
- Expert: “It sounds like you might be an ambivert, which means you’re a mix of introvert and extrovert. That’s very common!”
Homework:
Write a short paragraph about your own personality. Use the new words you learned today. You can also mention if you’ve taken a personality test and what you think about it.
Extra Fun:
If you can, take a free personality test online! Share your results with the class, if you want to.
